Aarna Brings Preventive Wellness to the Community at Viksit Bharat Run 2026, Dubai

More than 200 participants received basic health screening as Aarna joined a morning dedicated to movement, community and Seva.
On 27 September 2026, Dubai’s Indian community came together for the Viksit Bharat Run 2026, organised by the Consulate General of India, Dubai, in association with the Indian People’s Forum (IPF) as part of the Seva Pakhwada observances. The event at Zabeel Park brought together the community around fitness, participation and the spirit of service. Consul General Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy flagged off the run.
For Aarna Health and Wellness, the occasion represented something closely aligned with what we believe healthcare should be: present within the community, accessible to families and focused on prevention before illness demands attention.
A moment of care within a morning of movement
As participants gathered for the run, the Aarna team created a dedicated wellness point where people could take a few minutes to understand some of their basic health indicators.
During the event, our clinical team provided basic health screening to more than 200 participants, covering:
- Blood pressure
- Blood sugar
- Pulse rate
- Oxygen saturation (SpO₂)
- Body temperature
These simple measurements are not a substitute for medical diagnosis or a complete health assessment. They can, however, create an important moment of awareness.
For some participants, it was reassurance. For others, a reading became a reason to pay closer attention, ask a question or consider speaking to a healthcare professional.
That is where we believe preventive care begins.
Prevention starts with awareness
Healthcare often enters our lives only when something feels wrong.
At Aarna, we want to help change that relationship.
Preventive wellness is not necessarily about doing more tests or undergoing more procedures. It starts with knowing your body, understanding your individual risks and recognising when it may be appropriate to seek professional guidance.
A community event creates a valuable opportunity to make that first step easier.
No waiting for a health concern to become urgent.
No complicated healthcare journey.
Simply a few minutes devoted to yourself.
The experience also allowed our team to engage directly with individuals and families, answer basic wellness questions and encourage participants to think about health as something that deserves regular attention.
From individual wellbeing to family wellbeing
One of the most meaningful aspects of the morning was seeing people participate not only as runners, but as families, friends and members of a wider community.
Health works in much the same way.
An individual who becomes more conscious about blood pressure may encourage a parent to have theirs checked. A conversation about blood sugar may prompt a family to think differently about nutrition and activity. A routine health review can sometimes begin because someone simply asks another person, “When did you last get yourself checked?”
This is why Aarna’s philosophy extends beyond treating individual episodes of illness.
We believe in building a more continuous relationship with health — across the individual, the family and the community.
Seva through healthcare
The wider Viksit Bharat Run formed part of Seva Pakhwada activities in Dubai, which included initiatives centred on service and community engagement.
For our team, participating through healthcare made the idea of Seva tangible.
It meant meeting people where they were.
Listening.
Checking.
Explaining.
And, where necessary, encouraging the next appropriate step.
There was no need for the interaction to be complicated. Sometimes meaningful healthcare begins with something as fundamental as giving somebody your attention.
That is central to the way we see Aarna:
We Hear. We Care.
Continuing the journey beyond the event
Our responsibility does not end when an event concludes.
Participants who registered with Aarna and received an Aarna wellness voucher now have an opportunity to continue their preventive health journey with us. Our team is reaching out to help interested participants understand their options and, where appropriate, schedule a clinic appointment.
The intention is simple: to make the transition from awareness to appropriate action easier.
A screening reading at an event is only a snapshot. Meaningful preventive care requires context — personal history, family history, lifestyle, symptoms, risk factors and professional clinical assessment where indicated.
That is the conversation we want to continue.
Our gratitude
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Consulate General of India, Dubai, the organisers, volunteers and everyone involved in bringing the community together for the Viksit Bharat Run 2026.
Most importantly, we thank every participant who stopped at the Aarna wellness point and trusted our team with a few minutes of their health journey.
More than 200 screenings represent more than 200 sets of readings.
To us, they represent more than 200 individual conversations about health.
And if even one of those conversations encourages someone to become more attentive to their wellbeing, involve their family in preventive care or seek timely medical guidance when needed, then those few minutes have mattered.
At Aarna, that is the kind of healthcare relationship we want to build – personal, preventive and centred on care before it becomes a necessity.
Aarna Health and Wellness
We Hear. We Care.
